POSITION SUMMARY
The Parts Driver/Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for delivering parts to wholesale customers, coordinating sales transactions with wholesale customers, organizing and processing incoming and outgoing parts, receiving stock and specialty parts orders into inventory, and preparing outgoing packages for shipping.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
 
Receives, tags, and organizes incoming parts orders, verifies against packing slips, and receipts parts into inventory. Processes the associated paperwork and computer entry accurately.

Collects parts and invoices for delivery to wholesale customers.  Collects signature for charge customers or payment from customer upon delivery.

 

Submits payment and document of delivered parts to Service Support Specialist, or Parts Counterperson, for parts invoice closing and completion of transaction.

Maintains company parts delivery vehicle in a clean and good working condition, including fueling, cleaning interior and washing exterior, and adhering to regular vehicle maintenance schedule.

Prepares company packages for shipment.

 

Assists and organizes the processing of scrap warranty parts according to manufacturer guidelines. 

 

Projects a positive attitude by working effectively in a spirit of cooperation with other employees to achieve common goals/objectives.

 

Supports and encourages a results-driven, values-based, sales and service culture throughout the organization.

 

Exercises an appropriate level of courtesy, tact, and professional communications in dealing with others.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Ability to learn and use all software provided by the dealership.
Must have a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record.
Must a professional personal appearance.
